This great-looking shed could even be used as an additional dwelling if you add your own insulation and
drywall. The kit includes double doors and windows, decorative shutters, locks made in the USA,
decorative hinges, and horizontal nailers for an extra sturdy construction.
The shed assembled in the video is a Riverside shed model but the assembly is the same.

The kit will arrive in 1 or 2 large wooden crates. This is standard curbside delivery in almost all
cases the driver will be able to unload the crates and put them in an easy-to-get-to area.
If the delivery truck does not have a liftgate available, you will be required to have 2 people
available to unload the pieces from the crate. The pieces are easy to carry with 2 people. If
you want to ensure the unloading of the kit, we also have a flatbed truck with a forklift delivery option
which runs around $200–$1,000 depending on the location and size of the delivery. Send us an email to find

All EZ-Fit Sheds are solidly constructed with quality Amish craftsmanship and come partially pre-assembled.
Wall siding is attached to the 2x4 framing in 4-foot wide wall panels. We provide step-by-step instructions,
and the average assembly with 2 people takes about 8 hours. We do not provide installers, but many customers
hire a local handyman.

We can place the double doors (or a single door with windows) on the opposite 180° side—just let us know in
the “Special instructions for seller” at checkout. You can also request different window/door placement. Email

Our locksets are made right here in the U.S.A. They feature a heavy-duty locking mechanism and a
durable electro-coated black paint. Each lockset includes a decorative plate.
12" Decorative T-Hinge with bushings are standard on all EZ-Fit Shed Kits.
A Double Top Plate creates an incredibly stiff wall and a very strong corner where the plates overlap.
Stronger, straighter walls. Increased nailing surface—standard on all high sidewalls.
Trim provides visual contrast and protects the fascia board from exposure to the elements.
The standard 60" door allows for easy access. Add an optional ramp for easy retrieval of lawn and garden
equipment.
(Floor kits are not available on 10x20, 12x20, and 12x24 sheds due to shipping weight restrictions.)

Floor and shingles can be purchased at your local hardware store. You can also purchase the optional floor
kit in the add-on section. The floor can consist of 4x4's, 2x4's, and plywood—email us if you’d like details.
"Bottom plate" is the 2x4 at the bottom of each wall. If you want it pressure treated,
you can select the checkbox to purchase it.
The shed can also be placed directly on a concrete slab—select the pressure-treated option and we will treat
the bottom plate. If placing on a slab, we recommend the slab be 1/2" smaller than the shed’s length and
width so siding can overhang the edge to shed water. If your slab is larger, let us know and we’ll adjust the
wall bottoms accordingly.

Ramp is optional. It consists of two 24" wide × 48" long ramp sections and fits both the 60" and 72" door.
The ramp only works for sheds that have a wooden floor. If you are building the wooden floor on top of a
concrete pad then the ramp will work. If you are using the concrete pad for the floor of the shed then the
ramp won’t work. It will automatically come with a diamond plate door threshold for the double door.
The ramp will come with a diamond plate threshold that screws to the floor edge. This threshold has a J-Hook
that the ramp will hook into.
Notes: Dimensions are pallet L×W×H (inches). Weights are approximate. “Pallet 2” applies when the kit
requires a second pallet (e.g., larger sizes or when a floor kit is included).

1. Possible to do a taller door - something like 82" rough opening height? Yes, we can frame an 82” high door opening in the wall on 7’ or 8’ high walls.
2. What is the Roof Overhang? 12 inches on all sides.
3. How many runners for the sheds? An 8’ wide shed has 3 runners. 10’ and 12’ wide sheds have 4 runners.
4. Windows on EZ Fit Sheds, single or double pane? Single Pane..
5. Can the floor kit go on top of a concrete slab and if so, how large should the slab be? Yes, you can build a wooden floor on top of a concrete slab if you want to.
6. What are the largest size containers that the pieces come in. h x w x depth? As an example, A 12x24 shed will be shipped in 2 pallets. The 1st pallet is 50x83x64 weighing 1700 lb. 7. What is the thickness of the plywood walls? Do you use T111 Plywood? The smart side siding is 7/16 inch thick. It’s not plywood. It is an engineered wood treated to resist termites and fungal decay.
8. What is the thickness of the roof? Is the roof OSB or CDX? The roof sheathing is 7/16” osb.
9. How long will it take to install the roof shingles and to paint the shed once assembled? For an 8x12, 1 person can shingle it in 1.5 hours. Painting: 1 person = 4 hours. For a 12x14, 1 person can shingle in 3 hours. Painting = 7 hours
10. Is the floor package treated? If so, does it offgass? The floor is 3/4” pro struct which is also treated to resist termites and fungal decay.

12. What is the ramp length/width and what height difference does it take up (meaning what is the ultimate height from the concrete pad to the top of the threshold of the double doors)?
The ramp is 4 ½” high by the doors of the shed, It is either 60” wide or 72” wide and both are 42” deep.

Order Confirmation - After your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation which ensures that we have received your order. While we try our best to keep stock and inventory up to date, when we receive your order, we will immediately confirm the item is in stock and ready to ship. Order Shipment - Your item will ship within the designated lead time posted on your product listing page, which varies depending on the product. Returns – Many items can be returned for up to 30 days from the delivery date. Customized orders and orders that are built, such as sheds, cannot be returned. All returns are subject to a 10% - 25% restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund to the same credit card used for your purchase. I'm looking at the 8x8 (Town restricting my size, wanna go bigger), I'll need detailed specs for my permitting. After I purchase can I get a schematic to submit with my permit application?
If I were to place a order could I come and pick up the entire kit in a flatbed truck and trailer?

After your purchase you will receive an order confirmation and then we will send an email once it ships out with the tracking information. You have the option of picking up the shed kit at the local shipping company’s terminal if you would like. Depending on the size of shed, your trailer will need to be able to haul 2000-3000 lbs.
Normally the Shed Kits are shipped out with an LTL carrier and will deliver to residents on an approximate 26’ enclosed trailer. In some cases the truck/trailer is too large to fit into the driveway- if this is the case it will need to be unloaded at the end of the driveway (curbside). A few of our pallets are oversized and do not fit onto the trailer’s lift-gate to unload at delivery. The pallet sizes vary from 7’ -12’ in length depending on the size of shed and the optional floor kit. In the rare case that a shed kit can't be unloaded via lift gate and pallet jack and there is not a forklift available at delivery the customer is required to have a 2 or 3 people available when the delivery truck arrives to manually open the pallet/s and unload the kit parts from the back of the trailer. The delivery company will call at least 24 hours prior to delivery with the exact day and give a Two to Three hour window for delivery.
Can the doors be placed on the 12' side?

What are the dimensions that we should use to build the floor of a 10 x 16 shed
The floor should be the same dimensions as the shed. We can email you the instruction manual after you purchase the shed, if you would like. Please email us at info@homesteadsupplier.com
Is there a floor plan I can look at? Which dimension on the "EZ-Fit Sheds Homestead Outdoor Garden Shed Storage Solution" is the 8' and which is the 10'? Also, can this be converted into an art or craft studio?
We can email you the floor kit instructions after you purchase the shed if you would like. The floor dimensions are the same size as the shed you purchase. What is the hurricane rating for the sheds
105 mph wind rating for the EZ Fit Sheds. You can also increase the wind rating by anchoring the shed down.
Can I have 72" Wide Doors on a 10x10 shed ?
Yes, you can. Just simply choose the option of the correct size and also add the upgrade for the double to doors.
I have my shed arriving this week. I have a paint sprayer and was planning on laying the pieces out to paint before assembling. It seems like most people paint after assembly. Is there a reason that it would be a bad idea to paint before assembly?
You can paint before assembly, but then you will need to touch up the paint where you put new nails in during assembly.
Can I order without side windows and only have a double door? If so, does that add to availability time?
Yes, you can do that. Please note that there won't be any price reduction by requesting this. You can request this by placing a note in the "special instructions to seller" box. The lead time for production will still be 1-2 weeks for production.

We ordered the 10x10 EZ-Fit shed to replace an old rusty metal shed in our backyard. Our local handyman and his crew handled the delivery and install. In their opinion, our shed is of a much higher quality than the ones that they have built previously. In fact, they made the mistake of showing pictures to their wives and now they are on the hook themselves! We are very happy with our new shed!

The shed provided the extra storage we required, in a kit that was easily assembled, and including architectural details a step above other maker’s shed options.
The shed is great and went together well. The packaging was difficult because the shipping company had placed the crate into the corner of the truck and the pallet jack could not move it out. This made it very difficult to unpack because the screws on one side of the crate could not be accessed. Once piece was damaged as a result, but the supplier immediately shipped a replacement. Overall I am very happy with it.
