Is it possible to build the MONT unit on top of the concrete slab? If so, what size of the slab would be necessary?

Absolutely, a concrete pad can be used as the base for your structure. Riverstone Industries suggests expanding it by 3 – 4 inches on all sides to ensure stability and optimize performance. For instance, if you have an 8ft x 8ft Greenhouse (exact size 8.1 ft x 8.1 ft), an ideal concrete pad would measure up to 8.4ft x 8.4ft instead.

Please note that if you decide to do this, don't forget to get yourself some concrete anchors from your local hardware store as these parts do not come with the kit.

Are the tools for assembly included, or do I need to acquire them separately?

The following items are included in the package:

Is it possible to expand the MONT Greenhouse in the future?

Are these Greenhouse Earthquake or Hurricane proof?

MONTs are particularly sturdy greenhouses, yet they have not been tested for hurricane or seismic activity. Therefore, we recommend that you inspect the bolts regularly to guarantee everything remains robust and intact in case of an earthquake or after a long period without maintenance. The panels won't become detached unless the framework is loosened; plus, the channels are specifically designed to fit your Polycarbonate sheets perfectly!

What's the difference between the ventilation fans compared to the automatic openers on the roof?

Automatic vent openers are electricity-free, temperature-sensitive devices that automate the opening and closing of roof vents. When heat builds up within a greenhouse, these innovative mechanisms kick in to create airflow with nothing but wind energy. They make the process effortless!

On the other hand, with a powered ventilation fan, you are provided with greater control over air movement within your greenhouse. Although it is able to reduce the temperature due to increased airflow, do not expect an AC unit! On those sweltering days when heat levels soar outside, the interior of your greenhouse will still remain quite warm.

Do the doors swing out or slide to the side? What is the door width?

The door is a hinged one, so it will swing outwards. The door opening measures 4ft x 6ft.

Has the frame gone through anodization?

The lightweight aluminum frame is anodized for extra protection, while the black frame is given electrostatic paint.

Does the black paint have a powder coating?

Our black paint is applied through a process called electrostatic coating, which surpasses powder coating in terms of strength and durability. It's exceptionally hard to scratch or fade over time; Riverstone Industries guarantees its resistance for up to 10 years!

Is the aluminum frame temperature colder than the black frame?

Yes, the aluminum frame is approximately 7 degrees cooler than its black counterpart.
