Lead time for production is 1-2 weeks. Your shed will be delivered in 2-9 days depending on the distance from our site in Ohio to your home.
IMPORTANT NOTE: It is curbside delivery. Although our trailers and carriers most often come with liftgates to unload your shed, there might be certain factors such as terrain, road clearance, or the weight of the pallet being too heavy for the liftgate to unload which might prevent that from doing so. We highly encourage you to have 2-3 people ready on the day of the delivery to manually unload the pieces on the pallet one by one. Each individual piece would weigh around 1-100 lbs. so it is manageable to have one person on the trailer carry down the piece and the other receives it from the curb. Our Little Cottage Company Value Gambrel Barn with 4 Foot Sidewalls are made with Amish craftsmanship and are perfect for general storage or for a variety of other purposes, with its slightly different roofline that provides users more headroom.
Available in 17 different sizes from a small 8′ x 8′ to a more spacious 12′ x 24′ ideal for projects, storage, or even a home office in the backyard with 4′ high sidewalls the Value Gambrel Barn has ample room for all of your storage shed needs! This classic style with double doors is ideal for storing lawn tractors and other equipment. With its classic style; the Value Gambrel will look great and complement any backyard décor. You will be amazed by its space and quality!
As a standard, the Value Gambrel Barn 4 Foot Sidewalls come with a 48" double door for the 8' wide sheds or a 60" double door for the 10′ and 12′ wide ones. It has a 2″ overhang for our Value sheds. These kits are delivered to you pre-cut, primed, labeled, and ready for paint. And all you will need is a few basic tools and a little bit of carpentry.
This Value Gambrel Barn with 4 Foot Sidewalls is available from 8′ x 8′ up to 12′ x 24′.
Pre-Cut Kits: The Value Gambrel Barn 4 Foot Sidewalls come with all wood pre-cut to exact lengths. No Extra Cutting Required! You must assemble the pieces into sections and then put the sections together. Recommended for experienced users. All hardware, screws, and necessary fasteners are included.

- If you will be preparing a cement/concrete slab, it would have to be exactly the same size as the unit. If the concrete slab is larger then you would have to trim the 3” skirting that falls below the bottom plate that is designed to wrap around the flooring.
The above items can easily be purchased by the customer at a local hardware store.
OPTIONAL FLOOR KIT:
- Treated 2 x 4’s – 16” (OC) for base
- 4 x 8 – 5/8 OSB Flooring
- floor size should be exactly the same size as the building
- To build your own floor, the size of the floor will need to be the exact size of the Barn.
- We recommend a crushed stone base 1′ wider on either side of the Barn.
- The siding overlaps the side of the wood floor roughly 3″ and there is no moisture barrier. You can put this on a cement slab or wood floor – but accommodate for this
- You can retrofit for this but we do not provide instructions for this
Do I need a Floor Kit? You can either provide your own floor or cement slab to set the shed on or purchase the Floor Kit with your shed.
(If you are using a slab as the floor then it needs to be the exact size of the building. If it's used as a foundation, then you can have it in any size.)
Base: We recommend a crushed stone base, 1 foot wider than the building on all sides.
Flooring: Not included on some models. If you are building your own wood floor, it needs to be exactly the same size of the unit.

Free Shipping - We currently offer free shipping on almost all items over $199 to the contiguous United States. For some heavier and bigger items such as sheds we may charge shipping for some models to some states. All items under $199 have a low shipping rate which can be viewed when checking out. If you would like your item shipped somewhere outside of the contiguous United States, please email us and we can provide a custom shipping quote.
Order Confirmation - After your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation which ensures that we have received your order. While we try our best to keep stock and inventory up to date, when we receive your order, we will immediately confirm the item is in stock and ready to ship. In a case an item is on backorder, we will let you know by email or phone. If you choose not to wait until your item is back in stock, we will promptly provide a refund for the item.
Order Shipment - Your item will ship within the designated lead time posted on your product listing page, which varies depending on the product. Once your item has shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number and any other shipping information. Most items require approximately 24 hours for the tracking information to be updated.
Damages - You should inspect all shipments at the time of delivery. If your shipment is damaged, you should note it with the driver when signing for the delivery. If the item is damaged, please contact us immediately and let us know. Depending on the damage we may be able to send a replacement part if that makes more sense than replacing the item. Please keep all original packaging as damaged items need to be returned in the original packaging. Returns on damaged items need to be approved by customer service before returning.
Incorrect Item - Sometimes mistakes happen and we may ship the wrong item, if that occurs contact us at email@example.com and we will send out a replacement item provided the return item(s) are received back in the original packaging with all original content. Replacement returns due to our error are NOT subject a restocking charge.
Order Cancellation - If you need to cancel an order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing the order. If your order has already been processed, you are subject to a 4% cancellation fee. If you would like to cancel after your order has shipped, you will have to follow our return process to return your item. Customized orders and orders that are built, such as sheds, cannot be cancelled once they begin production.
Returns – Many items can be returned for up to 30 days from the delivery date. Customized orders and orders that are built, such as sheds, cannot be returned. To start a return, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. All products must be returned unopened and in the original packaging. Reason for return must be provided. All returns are subject to a 10% - 25% restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund to the same credit card used for your purchase. A Return Authorization Number is required before sending back a return. Please contact our customer service to receive a Return Authorization Number. You will be responsible for all shipping costs for a return unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect or otherwise approved from customer service. If a product is shipped with expedited shipping requested by the customer, the shipping cost is not refundable. Return shipping address will be given when RMA number is issued. DO NOT ship returns to our corporate mailing address.

How much is the floor kit?
For the 8x8, the floor kit option is $377. You can check for the other sizes by clicking on "Floor Option" > "With Floor Kit". The Floor Kit Size drop down will now be available and you can choose and select the floor option size you are looking for from there.
